For Maude's 19th birthday, Edith planned a huge slumber party with all their closest friends. Everyone was to bring their prettiest night gown and adorn them with pink laces. Edith also planned a little ball to take place in Maude's bedroom with champagne she stole form her father's cellars. After she had a few glasses she finally had the courage to ask Maude for a dance...

This concept was inspired by the novel "Fingersmith" which tells a sapphic romance story set in Victorian era Britain. I wanted to combine modern lingerie styles with Edwardian and Victorian nightgown styles and translate these intricate lace patterns through knitwear.
